ProspektLab
Sources & methodology

Every number needs context.

ProspektLab brings offer terms, governance coverage and research into one workspace. Source visibility is part of the product.

How to read an IPO page

Total offer
The shares offered for sale plus any newly issued shares, as defined by the offer documents.
Fresh issue
New shares issued by the company. A verified zero differs from a missing value.
Offer for sale (OFS)
Existing shareholders sell shares. Proceeds from this part go to the sellers.
Subscription denominator
Shares used to calculate demand. It can exclude anchor allocations and must not be treated as the total offer.
Subscription multiple
Bids relative to the shares available in that category, at the stated update time.

Source priority

Final prospectuses, red herring prospectuses, corrigenda and exchange notices establish offer terms. Exchange feeds provide bidding updates. Secondary sources can help discovery, but conflicting values need verification against primary documents.

Unknown is useful information

Missing amounts are shown as “Not verified”. Conflicting amounts are withheld for review, with the previous values retained in audit metadata. Scores are unavailable where underlying analysis is incomplete. A lack of evidence is not a low-risk finding.

Dates and freshness

Offer dates should come from a source. A filing date alone cannot establish a subscription, allotment or listing date. Recently listed coverage spans the last 30 calendar days. Page view time and source update time are displayed separately.

Research and commercial independence

Research evidence and data quality determine what these pages show. Commercial placements should be labelled clearly and kept separate from governance scoring and research conclusions.
